On October 4, 2000, National Farm Life Insurance Company purchased the charter of what had been Ag Worker’s Life Insurance Company. National Farm Life named its new wholly owned subsidiary, American Farm Life Insurance Company. National Farm Life has been providing quality life insurance protection and service in the state of Texas, since 1946. Both, NFL and AFL are licensed in the state of Texas, however, National Farm Life’s intentions are to expand its services outside the state of Texas and American Farm Life is the tool with which this goal has become a reality
